More Pat Robertson money quotes.

The president will be really upset about this:

No Proof Found of Iran Arms Program

How's he supposed to get his approval rating up without starting another war? Hello Syria!

The news media is obsessed with Pat Robertson. They've been reduced to watching the 700 Club to find the latest money quotes. Is it really a good idea to continually quote this "pro-life" religious extremist who wants to have others killed with whom he disagrees (he says because Chavez supports religious extremists...weird)? I mean the guy is more than just a little crazy. And this cannot be good for our foreign relations with Venezuela to have this guy being quoted all over the place when he was once a presidential candidate. They need to let the crazy guy have his little religious show and that be the end of it. Maybe one day his viewers will realize what a nutjob he is and change the channel. And maybe the news media should focus on something a little more news-worthy like celebrity marriage problems or something equally mind-numbing. Wait, isn't there a war going on?

Yay:
Connecticut Sues 'No Child Behind' Law
... HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - The state of Connecticut filed a federal lawsuit Monday challenging President Bush's No Child Left Behind school reform law, arguing it is illegal because it requires expensive testing and programs it doesn't pay for....

Holy Moly! Bush's approval ratings at 36%!

Is this what happens when Karl Rove is kept busy? Too bad the American people didn't think this last November.

So I'm taking this online Zogby survey and they ask me this:

"Are you aware that a part of the "No Child Left Behind" education act of 2001 requires secondary schools that receive federal money, to release personal information about their students to military recruiters? "

Isn't that extortion? You can only go to these schools that the law guarantees you the right to attend, if you get on our harassment list for joining the military. Well I guess its the price for education... well... now it is. The more I hear about 'No Child Left Behind', the more I think both the Democrats and Republicans are bastards for passing it. Its not a right or left issue, its just a rotten law. And all the failing schools are doing away with all the art and cultural programs to focus on the subjects that the students get tested on (its the learn to be tested method of teaching).
So now, poor kids don't get art or culture from school but they do get on military recruitment lists... bastards.
