Bush Eases Environmental Rules on Gasoline

Good thing too, I was beginning to think we were hitting a plateau in the warming trend but nope- with refineries going at full-scale tilt, New Orleans will be in summer all year long. I don't know why this tickles me:

The corruption of congress members has just gone too far. Sure, bribery from lobbyists, illegal campaign contributions, using political extortion to change votes on the floor... same ole, same ole. But now an ex-staffer of Congressman Conyers' office says the congressman made his staffers ...get this... watch his kids! He may as well as shot somebody! Crazy bastard!
Okay, its not cool that he did this, but its really small if put into context to the other scandals in the papers today. Measly even.
