Is it me or does CNN lose all credibility when it starts using words like "family jewels" in their headlines to describe recently unclassified CIA documents? I know that someone high up probably called it that once, but who's going to take you seriously if you keep comparing everything to balls? They do know that's what that means, right? Oh and who thinks the reason these things are becoming unclassified is to make the Bush administration's misconduct not look as bad as they obviously are compared to all the creepy goings-ons in the past? Me!
Here's the story:
CIA releases 'family jewels' of misconduct reports

And what's horrifying is that they show a picture of Fidel Castro below the headline. So I'm thinking "family jewels" and I see Castro. Its just wrong in so many ways.

You know, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they DIDN'T know what it means. I've seen people on TV news say the most astonishingly ignorant things. Ignorant AND arrogant - they can't imagine there is anything they don't know.
