Oh great, New Orleans is having problems with the drinking water again- well the Algiers section of New Orleans that is. Only in New Orleans does a 20 inch water main get so old and unmaintained that it just breaks on its own. And this was after they received complaints that it was leaking. And only in New Orleans does the Sewerage and Water Board announce that they have something to announce in a press conference an hour later. Then in that press conference tell everyone in that area that the water might not be suitable to drink. Hello? There was an hour of people drinking that water when they could have just announced not to drink it in the first place. Idiots.
