You're really trying to get me to move back to New Orleans. I think I may bring my AK with me when I visit for the holidays. Just for protection. Everyone has one these days, they're like fashion accessories.

You'll only need it every so often. It depends what block you're on. My block is okay, but about ten blocks down it gets a little scary. When people say there are two seperate worlds for the rich and the poor in this city, they don't know what they're talking about. There are nice big million plus dollar homes across the street from run down apartments where crazy joe plays his beat box and shakes nervously like he needs a fix. Seriously. That's three blocks down from my place. But yeah, this week has been a bit worrisome. You should still move back though, don't let a little AK-47 scare you.
